Seasons by the Sea
As part of the overall refurbishment of The Bay Hotel for the 2010 World Cup, one of the cornerstone elements was to create a new beach-facing cocktail bar and restaurant in this prime beachfront location. It needed to be both discerning and distinctive. A section of the front garden was excavated and a new building constructed within it. The majority of the seating area is located outdoors to exploit the spectacular weather and views. All-year-round comfort is ensured via a high-tensile canopy, a state-of-the-art misting system, and infra-red heaters. The inside area is slick and minimal, with extensive use of glass and modern lighting.
